Neoenergia And Government Of Rio Grande Do Norte Sign Memorandum For Offshore Wind Power Projects

Neoenergia, a subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group in Brazil, and the Government of Rio Grande do Norte signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Tuesday to develop studies for the production of offshore wind generation in the coastal region of the state. The agreement also includes mutual cooperation and exchange actions involving socioeconomic, environmental, technical and regulatory aspects.

Nordex SE: BayWa R.E. Awards Nordex Group Order For 141 MW In Spain

The Nordex Group has obtained an order from BayWa r.e. to supply and install 24 N163/5.X turbines from the Delta4000 series in Spain. The order also includes a 25-year Premium Service contract for maintenance of the turbines.

Iberdrola has successfully installed all fifty monopiles for the Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm together with its partner Van Oord. The next step in the ongoing construction phase now involves the installation of the transition pieces. These were manufactured by the Spanish company Windar Renovables and temporarily stored in the port of Mukran.

RWE And TenneT Sign Agreements For Connection Of Wind Farm Oranjewind (HKWVII) In Dutch North Sea

Network operator TenneT and energy company RWE have signed agreements for an offshore grid connection of OranjeWind, a wind farm to be built 53 kilometres off the Dutch coast. The Connection & Transmission Agreement (CTA) and Realisation Agreement (REA) cover the realisation of the grid connection and the transmission of the electricity produced by RWE’s wind farm on TenneT's platform.
