DNV and partners have recently launched a new JIP - EMRED. The JIP aims to establish a monitoring and reporting framework for assessing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the offshore wind installation sector. The partners comprise energy companies, ScottishPower Renewables, RWE, Vattenfall, Orsted, and installation/operation companies, Jan De Nul Group, DEME, Ziton, Cadeler, Van Oord, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, and DNV.

Global solar leader Lightsource bp and AEP Energy Partners (AEPEP), a subsidiary of American Electric Power and one of the largest wholesale energy suppliers in the country, have signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for a 188 megawatt (dc) solar project located in New Carlisle about 10 miles west of South Bend, Indiana.

Statkraft Supplies Regional Green Electricity To SCHOTT

Statkraft, Europe's largest producer of renewable energy, and SCHOTT have signed a power purchase agreement. Over a period of two years, Statkraft will supply the technology group with approximately 30 gigawatt hours of regional green electricity from a wind farm in Rhineland-Palatinate, thereby supporting SCHOTT in achieving its sustainability goals of climate-neutral production by 2030.
