Fully Integrated Systems for a Variety of Effluent Streams
Each effluent stream presents its own unique challenge when designing an entire water treatment system to efficiently and effectively minimize waste or eliminate the discharge of wastewater.
HPD offers fully integrated, customized systems that incorporate the best available technologies and treatment options based on the unique requirements of the project. Evaporation and crystallization systems are designed for a variety of configurations and capacities suitable to match the requirements of each specific ZLD project.
Complementary technologies such as filtration, softening, RO (reverse osmosis), drying systems, and clarification are integrated upstream or downstream of the evaporation equipment that provides a total ZLD system solution capable of treating:

Efficient Water Recovery
Evaporation in brine concentrators is an efficient means of achieving water reuse and recycling with recovery rates as high as 98%. Recovered water in a brine concentrator may be recycled for utilization in plant processes or used as cooling tower or boiler makeup.
Addition of a brine crystallization system allows further concentration of effluents to a solid residue, suitable for landfill application. Nearly all of the water is recovered, eliminating aqueous waste.
