The Xendos 2510 is a single-beam, gas filter correlation infrared gas analyzer in which gas filled cells replace the traditional optical filters used in standard infrared analyzers.
The Xendos 2510 is a single-beam, gas filter correlation infrared gas analyzer in which gas filled cells replace the traditional optical filters used in standard infrared analyzers. Typical applications include the measurement of emissions for CO, NO, HCl, and SO2. The gas filters provide increased measurement sensitivity, and outstanding cross-sensitivity rejection to water vapor and CO2 in flue gases.

Unlike standard rack mounted analyzers the sample stream it kept totally isolated from the electronics avoiding the possibility of corrosion. The Xendos 2510 can measure flammable gases without purging. The standard analyzer is FM approved for Class 1 Division II operation. Additionally, a heated sample cell option allows corrosive gases like HCl to be measured hot and wet at 180°C, thus preventing sample losses and corrosion common in unheated systems.

The Xendos 2510 has been awarded the UK Environment Agency's important MCERTS Approval for emissions monitoring. The approval followed both testing at the National Physical Laboratory and field trials conducted by AEA Technology Environmental on behalf of SIRA (Scientific Instrument Research Association).
