Wirewound resistors have been specifically designed for low current applications from
Avtron Manufacturing, Inc.nd resistors have been specifically designed for low current applications from 1 to 32 amps continuous. The construction of the resistors allows for high ratings for intermittent duty applications, such as the dynamic braking of variable speed drives or motor starting. These resistors can be supplied loose, preassembled with panel mount brackets, or fully assembled with protective indoor or outdoor enclosures. Also available with these enclosures are thermal switches, wiring, and control systems.
