A media filter is used to remove suspended solids and turbidity from the water. These are located in front of demineralizer trains, reverse osmosis units, softeners, etc. By removing this debris from the water, it prevents the down stream equipment from being plugged up when operated properly.

WATERTRAK™ filters offer a wide range of sizes, materials of construction and configurations to meet all of your filtration needs.
They can be ordered either as a stand-alone unit or integrated into the most complex of control systems. Normally filtered water will have <1 PPM total suspended solids (TSS) considering a feed TSS of 10- 25 PPM. Various chemical dosing to aid filtration may be required and can be offered as an optional item.
