Wärtsilä broadens its Lifecycle solutions offering by introducing the Wärtsilä Guaranteed asset performance solution for power plant operators. Guaranteed asset performance is a new solution where Wärtsilä guarantees the reliability and availability of the power plant with fixed cost while the customer operates the power plant. Earlier this year, a similar performance guarantee was introduced to marine and offshore customers.
With the new Guaranteed asset performance solution, Wärtsilä guarantees the reliability and availability of the power plant. In practice, this means that performance targets and KPIs are determined together with the customer based on measurement data, and Wärtsilä guarantees that these targets are reached and the achieved levels maintained. Measurable indicators can include, for example, availability, reliability and fuel consumption.
An onsite support engineer, use of online data and remote monitoring service enable efficient support and immediate response from Wärtsilä's experts to ensure the safe and optimised operation of the power plant. Wärtsilä offers tools for monitoring and optimisation of the assets based on data as well as follow-up of the agreed performance targets.
