The Model 8TP10LMX1 Flame Scanner is derived from heavy duty turbine applications and uses advanced solid state optical detectors. It is compatible with a full range of turbine fuels (natural gas, oil, waste gas, including with water or steam injection).
The scanner provides a high-bandwidth 4-20 mA signal. The sensor is a standard loop-power 4-20 mA device which can be connected directly to a control system with this standard interface or connected through a relay module, or with a frequency converter. Other features include:
•Wavelength sensitivity (UV needed for turbine applications)
•Sensor meets FM requirements for C1 I Div II electrical safety
•Hermetically sealed
•Electronics can be replaced without taking unit off the turbine
•Mounts with standard NPT pipe thread
•Response time is 20 msec maximum
•Viewing angle is 2°
