PowerMaster Interactive is a comprehensive, customizable CD-ROM training program that focuses on safety-related work practices that power delivery personnel need to know. It is designed to help power delivery workers be efficient and safe on the job whether they are doing overhead, underground, meter, or substation work. It includes up-to-date MPEG full-motion video, audio, three-dimensional graphics, animation, and simulation exercises. The administrator can enable pretests and posttests, and interactive exercises appear throughout each course to help keep the instruction challenging and fun.
The 78 courses are arranged in a progressive curriculum and divided into four "PowerPacks". Important fundamentals are covered such as electrical safety and basic climbing skills, moving on to more advanced topics, such as pole top equipment replacement, and transformer troubleshooting. Users can purchase single courses, PowerPacks, or the entire program.
