Training and Troublshooting Guide

The SMB 000/00 is a training, maintenance and troubleshooting guide on CD-ROM that specifically deals with the operation of Limitorque motor operated valve actuators. The program will instruct maintenance staff on how to properly set the limit and torque switches and how to perform proper preventive maintenance. The course also performs comprehensive student summaries and directs students through six different modules, including a final exam. The six training modules cover the electric power train, manual power train, electric controls, mechanical subassemblies and housing and procedures.

In addition, the system teaches operators how to avoid unnecessary attempts to examine and fix perceived problems that do not exist.
