Testo offers new products, announces promotions
Testo, Inc., a subsidiary of Testo GmbH & Co., provides products for the HVAC, industrial, food service, and laboratory markets. For a limited time, the ISO-9001 manufacturer is promoting a special offer on its Testo 350 portable emission analyzer kits. The analyzer currently holds approvals from the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), TUV, and handles sampling and reporting requirements found in the new CTM-030 & CTM-034 protocol. It measures stack gases, including O2, CO2, CO, NO, NO2, SO2, with the added measurement parameter of temperature, efficiency, excess air, draft/pressure, analyzer temperature, and sample flow rate, relative humidity, and flow (velocity).
The Testo 350 incorporates a "smart cell" design, combining a pre-calibrated gas detection sensor with an integrated circuit board for calibration, signal compensation, and more in one plug-in assembly. Routine maintenance can be performed without tools, and modular design helps ensure fast and easy sensor replacement and upgrades. Easy to set up and ready to operate in a few minutes, it can measure and record data up to 48 hours, making it well suited for both spot checks and longer term studies.
Important system upgrades such as additional temperature and pressure probes, pilot tubes, and software for permanent data storage, analysis, and reporting add to the system's value. By combining actual air velocity and relative humidity measurements, the unit also provides the necessary parameters for measuring emission values.
New combustion test kits
Testo is also offering four new combustion test kits specially priced for this season's heating. The residential/light commercial kits feature the Testo 325, a portable combustion analyzer. This automatic analyzer is designed to save the HVAC contractor time and money, and is ideal for daily oil burner efficiency tuning, carbon monoxide testing, and service in both residential and light commercial applications. The kit comes complete with free accessories, a wireless infrared printer, a Testo smoke pump, and a rugged aluminum case.
The new commercial/industrial combustion kit includes the Testo 300M analyzer. This analyzer is ideal for more sophisticated commercial and industrial applications. Its large LCD display and Windows-like interface allow quick tuning and evaluation. Users can print data onsite with with the free infrared printer (free as part of promotion). The 300M has easy-to-use menu-driven operation and measures O2, CO2, CO, °F, pressure, differential pressure, efficiency, and excess air. The kit also includes a Testo smoke pump and a rugged aluminum case.
New automatic single gas analyzers
The series 325-i analyzers are designed for fast, easy, and cost-effective measurements of CO (high), CO (low), NO, or SO2. This analyzer is both compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry anywhere. Measuring ranges are CO-low 0-2,000 ppm, Co high 0-40,000 ppm, NO 0-1,000, and SO2 0-3,000ppm. It has pushbutton simplicity and menu-driven prompts to get stack gas measurements within 60 seconds. All results are displayed on a large, easy-to-read display and can be printed on-site with an optional IR printer to verify the work performed.
The unit also has a built-in condensation trap to protect the instrument and extend the service life. The 325-i includes one-button draft measurements that eliminate the need for additional manometers, solutions and tubing, plus an optional magnetic-back case providing hands-free operation and instrument protection.
