TEi To Supply Modular Condensers To Western Pennsylvania Power Plant

Houston, TX - Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. (TEi), located in Santa Fe Springs, CA, a subsidiary of Babcock Power Inc., based in Danvers, MA, has been awarded a contract to supply modular replacement condenser bundles and supplementary equipment to a large Pennsylvania Utility Company.

TEi will design, fabricate and deliver four (4) half condenser modules. The tube bundles will be shop assembled to the maximum extent possible, in order to replace existing condenser surface, leaving the external walls intact. In addition to the condenser module replacement bundles, TEi Struthers Services, a division of TEi, will provide complete turnkey demolition of existing tube bundles and installation of the new condenser modules. The replacement bundles are designed to improve performance while minimizing tube quantities.
