The desuperheater is a regulating device for precision steam cooling by injection of cooling water into the steam pipe.
OPERATION:
- Using regulated nozzles, the 3-stage desuperheater offers a wide control range.
- The venturi-desuperheater injects cooling water into the steam pipe through a fixed venturi-nozzle. The special venturi shape insures an optimum mixing of steam and water.
- The steam atomizing desuperheater injects the cooling water into the steam pipe.
