United Electric Controlsctra 12T is a mechanical temperature switch designed for corrosive or explosion-proof applications found throughout the chemical processing industry. The compact and lightweight temperature switch features stainless steel construction, a sealed microswitch and in-line adjustment. Typical applications include the monitoring, control, alarm and shutdown of critical processes and equipment found in plants, offshore and in system packages.
Bulb and capillary configuration allows the head to be mounted remotely, up to 50 feet away. The thermal assembly includes ambient compensation to make sure temperature fluctuations will not affect performance. Optional armor cable provides added protection of the capillary. Performance specifications include adjustable temperature ranges as low as - 130°F and as high as 650°F, repeatability of +/- 1%.
