RTO - Regenerative Oxidizer Systems
The unique aspect of this unit is that the heat exchanger is 95%(+) efficient which allows the unit to run without auxiliary fuel if the solvent laden air is 3% LEL or higher.
The design of the heat exchanger on the unit allows for a very low profile and small footprint in comparison to most other units.
First the process air is run through bed #1, heated and cleaned before being pushed through the second bed, transferring its' heat prior to releasing it to the stack. Then the process air is reversed, it starts in the already heated bed #2, cleaned and released to the first bed to transfer its' heat again before being released.
The regenerative units operate at a lower static pressure with a smaller horse-power centrifugal fan that requires less energy to operate. The amount of gas and electricity consumed to destroy the VOCs, fumes and odors are greatly reduced by the twin bed feature of the units.
Why Use Regenerative?
Ranging from 5,000 to over 100,000 SCFM, regenerative units have higher destruction efficiencies (99% and higher) without using any expensive catalysts or metal heat exchangers to replace in comparison to recuperative or catalytic units. Solvent laden air is preheated, utilizing a ceramic medium as the heat exchanger media.

CEE will run a payback analysis of your existing system to demonstrate the effectiveness of our regenerative oxidizer systems.
