Rosemount's O2 analyzers specified for UOP processes

UOP, a supplier and licenser of technologies to oil and gas related industries, recently specified Rosemount Analytical's Oxymitter and world class in situ O2 analyzers for use on process heater furnaces. UOP currently specifies the Oxymitter and world class analyzers for use in the continuous catalytic regeneration (CCR) process.

Traditional measurement technologies that extract a gas sample are subject to periodic plugging. Rosemount Analytical's in situ probes place the sensing cell into the process stream, eliminating all sample pumps and eductors.

Hazardous area versions are available for Class I Div. I, Gr. B, C, D and Cenelec EExd II B +H2 applications, and special options are available for high sulfur and HCL environments, high temperature applications to 1300° C (2400° F), and pressurized applications to 50 PSI.

The Oxymitter flue gas oxygen transmitter combines a rugged in situ oxygen probe and digital field electronics into a single, compact package and sets the industry standard in accuracy, measurement cell life, responsiveness and reliability. The Oxymitter represents the only in situ oxygen analyzer to achieve FOUNDATION fieldbus certification and plays a key role in the Fisher-Rosemount PlantWeb field-based architecture.

Rosemount Analytical, a division of Fisher-Rosemount offers a full range of gas analyzers specifically for use in combustion applications, including the OCX 4400 O2/Combustible Transmitter, the Model 5100 CO Analyzer, and also manufactures damper actuators for closed-loop control of oxygen. Rosemount Analytical also offers a wide array of process analyzers for measuring gas and liquid components.
