PVElite Version 4.00 is an enhanced edition of a Windows (95/98/NT) integrated vessel design and stress analysis software. This new version features a 3D model viewer, DXF (data interchange file) file generation option and incorporates updated BS 5500, Appendix G local stress evaluation for round hollow nozzles on spheres and cylindrical shells.

The new 3D viewer can read and render any input file. It also includes real-time model rotation, zooming, panning, cutting planes, wire-frame viewing and other features. This helps in identifying vessel design problems such as component interference. The DWF file generation option produces a specially formatted text file that can be read by programs such as AutoCAD, Intergraph and many others to produce a drawing. This feature can be used to quickly create drawings for fabrication or bidding purposes. The BS-5500 Appendix G calculations incorporate the British version WRC 107/297 plus it provides allowable stresses.

In addition to these new features, this software incorporates current pressure vessel codes and standards such as ASME BPV, BS (British Standard) 5500, ASCE #7, Uniform Building Code (UBC), National Building Code (NBC), ANSI B16.5, TEMA and WRC Bulletin 107 and 297. It provides engineers, designers, estimators, fabricators and inspectors with complete design of tall towers, horizontal vessels, pots and pans and individual vessel components. The software is designed for quick start up, and its graphical modeling capabilities are easy to use and allow for quick data assembly and vessel analysis.
