PIC to offer Pentair technologies to the North America Power Generation Market
Pentair is pleased to announce a new channel partnership with PIC Group, Inc. The new relationship gives PIC the ability to offer Pentair Porous Media’s revolutionary technology to its clients in the power generation market.
UtliDri launches a revolution in achieving clean, dry oil. It combines Pentair Porous Media’s advanced separation technologies with a patented water removal design and process to provide the first, easy-to-use, inline oil dehydration system. The result is UltiDri, a hollow fiber membrane oil dehydration technology that removes virtually all free, emulsified, and dissolved moisture from all types of turbine oils.
In addition, a complimentary suite of technology solutions will be available to clients in the power generation sector, including: Stealth Active Breather Systems, a patented technology that prevents moisture ingression into reservoirs while simultaneously helping to dehydrate the oil. Genesis high efficiency oil filtration elements, and the recently introduced Envirosep oil conditioning and varnish prevention technologies.
“The partnership between the two companies is a good match because of their shared vision and values, above and beyond the fit of bringing these advanced technologies and added value to the power generation market,” said David Kolstad, Sales & Marketing Manager, Power Generation for Pentair Porous Media. “Without question, this partnership is a logical fit. As the cost of oil continues to set new records, end users are treating their lubricating, hydraulic and gear oils as an asset and no longer as a consumable. We at PIC have seen water, varnish and particulate issues for many years and now we have the tools to resolve the problem,” said Jeffrey Chapin, Business Development Manager for PIC.
Pentair, a division of Pentair, Inc., designs and manufactures advanced technologies for the separation of liquids, solids and gases. Pentair Porous Media provides innovative products and offers exceptional value for the demanding needs of the refining, natural gas, power generation, produced water, and chemical industries. Their Scientific Testing, Analysis and Research (STAR) Laboratories are staffed with Ph.D. scientists who develop membranes and various filter medium for advanced separation applications.
