Nexif Ratch Energy Showcases Wind Power Project At Binh Dinh Investment Conference 2025
The Binh Dinh Province Investment Promotion Conference 2025, held on March 28, 2025, in Quy Nhon, brought together government leaders, economic experts, foreign investors and local companies to discuss the province’s investment potential and future growth.
The event featured insightful speeches from Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and the Binh Dinh’s provincial leadership, alongside expert discussions on investment environment and key opportunities for investment in the province. Among the highlights was the focus on sustainable infrastructure development, with Nexif Ratch Energy playing a significant role in ensuring the provision of green energy to support the province’s expanding economic and industrial sectors.
At the Investment Conference, Cyril Dissescou, CEO of Nexif Ratch Energy, met with Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, to discuss the progress in the development of the 143MW Van Canh Binh Dinh Wind Power Plant.
After the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Binh Dinh Province to develop a wind power project in the Van Canh District in May 2024, Nexif Ratch Energy installed a meteorological mast in May 2024 to assess the site’s wind resource potential.
In December 2024, the Van Canh Binh Dinh Wind Power Project, with a capacity of 143 MW, was officially included in Vietnam’s Power Development Plan VIII under Decision No. 1682, issued by the Prime Minister. Nexif Ratch Energy is now actively working alongside the Binh Dinh provincial authorities to secure the investment policy approval as per regulations.
The project, expected to be completed in early 2028, will generate more than 400 GWh of clean electricity annually and create over 100 jobs during construction and 15 permanent roles upon operation.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with the Binh Dinh Province to unlock the full potential of renewable energy in the region,” said Mr. Dissescou. “The strong support and cooperation from the leadership of Binh Dinh Province are crucial for the success of our project, which will provide clean energy for local communities and industries, create employment opportunities, and contribute to the province’s economic growth.”
Matt Bartley, Chairman of the Development Committee of Nexit Ratch Energy added “We are excited to witness the continued growth of Binh Dinh Province as a hub for sustainable investment and innovation. We are committed to fostering a business environment that provides long-term benefits to local communities.”
