Multi-Drop Fiber Optic Multiplexer

Lascomm100 Multi-Drop Fiber Optic Multiplexer interconnects up to 12 devices with RS-232 and/or RS-485 interfaces over single mode or multimode fiber optic cable. It supports asynchronous data rates up to 38.4 Kbps. Six channel version is also available with less cost.

Each LT1100 unit provides two pair of fiber interfaces and 6 or 12 independent RS-232 and/or RS-485 channels. The LT1100 can be configured in Bus, Ring, or Self-Healing Ring topologies. The Self-Healing Ring scheme is efficient and insures uninterrupted operation. Anti-streaming insures normal system operation in the event of a node failure. Fiber optic connectors are ST; FC or SMA are optional. Electrical connectors are RJ-11 female. Power is 9 to12VDC; optional 24VDC or 115/230 VAC with an external power cube is available.
