Motion control centers and limit amps are designed to control and protect motors
N/Arol centers and limit amps are designed to control and protect motors. They can also be used as feeders for transformers and other devices. They are rated at 600 V and less, with the most common rating at 480 V.
Limit amps are rated between 2300 and 7200 V, the most common being 2400 V and 4800 V. Normal applications for the MCCs and limit amp controllers are in steel, paper, petroleum, cement, rubber, mining, chemical, and utility industries—along with other commercial applications.
