Leather Firefighter Boot

These heavy duty waterproof Black Diamond leather firefighter boots are constructed using Process 82 to mold, vulcanize and permanently bond the rubber sole to the welt and upper. The process creates a bond that is guaranteed never to separate. Plus, these boots are extremely flexible and require no painful break-in period. P82 boot construction produces the most effective combination of a tough, hard wearing, slip resistant sole, flexibility and all day comfort.

This 8" firefighter boot also features -- lace lock system; velcro strap to keep zipper tab in place; rust resistant brass zipper; fire retardant full grain leather upper; cushioned and contoured removable footbed; heel-to-toe full coverage stainless steel protective sole plate that exceeds ANSI/CSA puncture resistance standards; steel toe that exceeds ANSI/CSA Grade 1 standard and includes a welded lug to provide extra protection from frontal impacts; fire retardant, flexible nitrile outsole; anti-slip ladder nipples; double ridged steel shank and straight breasted Lugger heel design both increase ladder support; water resistant fiber counter for heel support; Kevlar/ Nomex flame and cut resistant protective lining throughout; ANSI/CSA certified built-in steel sole plate and CSA certified ESR (EH) protection. Finally, this style is electric shock resistant, and is constructed with a layered inner lining of Cambrelle, 300g polyester felt insulation, and a CROSSTECH membrane to provide penetration resistance against blood, body fluids and common chemicals. Meets or exceeds NFPA, ANSI and CSA standards.
