Laser Dustmeter

Air Instruments and Measurements (AIM) introduces the Model FP 1000 laser dustmeter.

The Model EP1000 provides in-situ measurement of dust concentration. The laser beam is pointed toward the dust-containing atmosphere and the light is reflected back toward the source by the dust particles. The instrument is calibrated so that the amount of reflected light is pointed toward the dust concentration.

Features include no zero drift and minimal sensitivity to water droplets. The EP 1000's readings are independent of sample gas flow rate or temperature. The instrument has a built-in protection against dust penetration. Outputs include 4-20 ma and RS 485 or RS 232.
