Jenbacher Energiesysteme, Ltd.

The Jenbacher Aktiengesellschaft ranks among Austrias most renowned industrial companys. The roots of its production location in Jenbach go back to the 16th century.

Already in 1948 compressors and diesel engines were being serially produced in Jenbach/Tirol. In 1957 the first gas engine was delivered. Besides the production of rail vehicles, the gas engine sector has rapidly grown to a major field of operation with long time growth perspectives which today significanly shapes the entire company.

Modernization and internationalization are presently shaping the history of Jenbacher AG. As a result, its performance spectrum has been considerably extended within the last 5 years. Turnover in this period was almost tripled.

Over 95% of the gas engine modules produced by Jenbacher AG are exported. Subsidiary branches were established in Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Spain and the USA. In addition to this, an excellent network was created for our customers with more than 30 sales and service partners.
