Information Sharing Application

PI-ActiveView, a fully-integrated Web-based application, enables the sharing of all company information worldwide, as well as allows users to deploy sophisticated applications built-in, and is an advanced development environment. These company-specific applications allow users to analyze, distribute and report information through a Web browser over the Internet, or through a company's Intranet.

The system empowers users corporate-wide to have access to both real time and historical production information, and also have access to deploy data-event driven applications, helping analyze and manage cost- and time-critical information. It features record fast deployment by using its inherent Internet-based architecture, and deploys by using an automated download setup and version control allowing worldwide installation throughout the company from one remote PC. This process eliminates the need to run individual set-ups on hundreds of PCs.

Other notable characteristics of the application are that it maintains positive handshaking at all times with the servers to which it is connected. This insures that the client application will know if the server did not receive the information, and vice versa. Security features include a tag-by-tag security system and built-in digital signatures that aid in the protection of valuable corporate information over the Internet. It also provides built-in digital signatures that provide proof of authorship and insurance that a virus has not been attached.
