Hydropneumatic Tank Systems

The PULSCO Hydropneumatic Tank System is a sophisticated control and feedback system that maintains water system pressure at a constant level. The system includes the necessary tank, air compressor, controls, pressure switches, bypass ball valves, solenoid valves, air check valves, control panels, wiring and accessories to meet each customers unique requirements. The tank is a steel pressure vessel constructed in accordance with A.S.M.E., Section VIII Pressure Vessel Code Requirements for the working pressure and service required. It contains no moving parts to wear out. The system is equipped with an automatic level-pressure and air compressor unit control panel to maintain the air charge and water level to reduce frequent pump starts and stops. A steady air charge and water level is maintained during peak service times by the unit control panel. The unit control panel activates the pumps and air compressors by monitoring the pressure and water level via tank mounted pressure switches and water level sensors to maintain the system pressure within allowable limits.
