High-Pressure Reducers
The Model W6501 HiDP II is a rod-in-tube pressure reducer that reduces high-pressure samples for grab or continuous on-line analysis and is adjustable to facilitate on-line cleaning and to compensate for valve wear.
It is ideal for use in centralized sampling systems, single point sample conditioners or similar applications where precision adjustment of a high-pressure/low-flow stream is required.
Designed in accordance with ANSI/ASME B31.1, the HiDP II is rated at 5,000 psi at 300ยบ F to 5,000 ml per minute.
It offers a range of unique features, including: a blowdown tip on the high pressure reducing rods to facilitate pluggage removal; heavy duty threads on the drive rod to handle high loads and resist galling; and a special tube support design to prevent twisting of the pressure tubing and thereby minimize misalignment of the high pressure reducing components.
The HiDP II also features a speed crank on the handle to accelerate valve positioning. This reduces the time required to clean the device and return it to its operating position. It also reduces hand fatigue when cycling the valve(s) during blowdown.
All materials used in the construction of the HiDP II are 316 SS, and the unit is directly interchangeable with similarly designed valves.
