HD-28.1 Power Generation Balancer

This 80,000 lb capacity horizontal machine is used for balancing large armatures, impellers, and blowers. A heavy duty drive and a speed reducer or gearbox provide the torque to accelerate the rotors to balancing speed and provide controlled braking for short balancing times.

American Hofmann Corporation manufactures an extensive line of precision, hard bearing balancing machines. The universal horizontal systems described on the following pages are used for a variety of applications by OEM's, overhaul and repair shops, and end users. AHC balancing machines are composed of a variety of drives, support systems, and instrumentation. Force measuring transducers come standard with all AHC systems and, if needed, tooling con be designed to accommodate specific ports.
