In applications where extreme windage loads or high axial thrust loads are encountered, direct rotor coupling via a drive shaft provides the best balancing results. The drive shaft can be connected to either a multiple-speed box or single speed gear reducer for optimum torque and power transmission. This machine is equipped with a complete shroud enclosure and has a weight capacity up to 5,000 lb.
