The company's duct burner uses small modular burners to provide uniform downstream temperatures
Coen Company, Inc.'s duct burner uses small modular burners to provide uniform downstream temperatures. It can be used for supplementary firing of turbine exhaust gases for combined cycle and cogeneration applications. The system is individually engineered to provide maximum flexibility and is capable of firing gas from 0.5 to more than 500 MBtu/hr with a 10:1 turndown capability. It can be air augmented for assured ignition and flame stability in depleted oxygen process gas streams. In-line duct installation and a low process gas pressure drop (less than 0.5 in. water column) are said to permit economical heat recovery designs.
