Process
A power plant which has two 400 MW generating units which feature SDA (Spray Dryer Absorber) flue gas scrubbers. The SDA technology injects a lime milk slurry into the scrubber section which helps remove sulfur compounds. The process requires the use of significant amounts of lime.
