In 1938, Dick Fisher and Bob Pierce started a manufacturing company in the small shed in Dick's back yard. They didn't have a lot of money or manufacturing equipment, but they did have two more important assets - the commitment to uncompromising quality and Yankee ingenuity. Both were forward looking creative inventors. Their creations included photocontrols, sensitive electromagnetic relays, stepper motors, telegraph relays, magnetic amplifiers and high voltage/current sensors.

Things have changed considerably since 1938, but that commitment to quality continues at today's Fisher Pierce.

Fisher Pierce, a Division of Danaher Corporation, specializes in the innovative development of electronic sensing & control equipment for the electric utility industry, worldwide.
