EXPANSION JOINT SYSTEMS, INC. (UNITED STATES) AND RADCOFLEX (AUSTRALIA) OPEN NEW EXPANSION JOINT COMPANY TO SERVICE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION

SANTEE, CALIFORNIA-JUNE, 2000- U.S.-based Expansion Joint Systems, Inc. (EJS) and Australian based-Radcoflex recently opened EJS Asia-Pacific Pty. Ltd. (EJS-AP) to improve service to their customers and potential customers in the Asia-Pacific region.

EJS-AP, located in Sydney, Australia, opened last month and is already capturing the attention of many large industrial organizations such as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Babcock-Hitachi. Mr. Ken Holly has been appointed business development manager for the company and manages eight (8) sales agent offices located in various countries including India, Japan, Indonesia, Korea, China, Taiwan, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The goal of EJS-AP is to improve logistics, pricing and product availability to companies in the Asia-Pacific region. Expansion Joint Systems will provide a majority of the engineering and design; manufacturing may be completed in a Radcoflex's manufacturing facility in Australia or Asia. All products will be designed to EJMA standards and ASME expansion joints will also be available through EJS-AP.

Expansion Joint Systems, Inc. has been supplying expansion joint assemblies, metal and fabric bellows and piping solutions for over 16 years. EJS is an active member of the Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association as well as ASME certified and UOP approved.
EJS is currently in the process of obtaining ISO 9002 certifications.

Radcoflex, an ISO 9001 company, has been manufacturing a wide range of exhaust connectors, expansion joints and flexible hose for over 40 years. They have several manufacturing facilities throughout Asia in addition to their main facilities in Australia.
