eT Communications Will Provide Aurora Technologies with Data Collection Devices

According to a recent agreement, eT Communications, Inc. (San Jose, CA) will provide Aurora Technologies, LLC (Dallas, TX) with more than 100,000 eT Gateway data collection devices and the eT SmartLinX System.

Aurora uses the eT Gateways to collect and send corrected measurement data and the eT SmartLinX System provides them with two-way communications via open, existing networks for automated meter reading (AMR) and additional value-added premise services. These two systems are used to feed near real-time data to Aurora's AMNET Host system, which in turn delivers information and analysis solutions to Aurora's commercial and industrial energy customers via the Internet.
