Electric Linear Actuators

Jordan Controls, Inc., Milwaukee,Wis., announces linear electric actuators that directly replace pneumatic drives.

The LA-2400 and LA-2500 series electric linear actuators are designed to match the existing footprint of pneumatic actuators for secondary air registers on coal-fired boilers, shroud damper drives, and secondary over-fire auxiliary air registers. Female clevis ends to the actuator drive arm allow easy installation on the former pneumatic drive mount.

Thrusts of the LA-2400/2500 series range up to 1,600 lbf. (7,117 N), strokes range up to 24 inches (610 mm), and speeds vary according to model. Upper ambient temperature limit is 200° F. All models include over thrust protection and the ability to hold position on loss of power. Options include 4 to 20 mA control and/or feedback, and 120/240 Vac, 50/60 Hz, single phase or 440 Vac, 50/60 Hz, three phase power. All LA-2400/2500 model series include a two- year warranty.
