These resistors have rugged construction that allow severe short-time overloads, found in applications such as dynamic braking of variable speed drives, and the industry standard size allows for direct replacement of other brands such as General Electric. These resistors can be supplied loose with threaded support rods, preassembled with panel mount brackets, or fully assembled with protective indoor or outdoor enclosures. They are also available with optional thermal switches, wiring, and control systems.
