Dresser-Rand Expands Services for Reciprocating Compressors, Gas Engines
Dresser-Rand recently formed an expanded engineered solutions operation to provide expert analysis and service for all makes of process reciprocating compressors and integral gas engines, including non-Dresser-Rand equipment.
The new operation, the applied technology department (Grove City, PA), represents an extension of Dresser-Rand's engineered solutions group based in Painted Post, NY, said Fred Tanneberger, engineered solutions vice president.
Dresser-Rand named George Elefteriou as project manager for applied technology, reporting to Tanneberger. Elefteriou joined Dresser-Rand along with several engineers and technicians in March, after more than 25 years experience with Cooper Energy Services. Elefteriou brings to Dresser-Rand a team with a combined 150 years of experience in field service and engineering, Tanneberger said.
"Our clients will be able to upgrade or revamp their existing equipment—regardless of make or model—with the most advanced engineered components and assemblies," Tanneberger said. "We're not replicating parts, but instead, providing the latest technology and designs for improved efficiency and reliability of operation."
