Corrosion, fouling, and scale can be controlled in neutral or near neutral pH cooling water systems

Corrosion, fouling, and scale can be controlled in neutral or near neutral pH cooling water systems by the Dianodic III halogen stable treatment program. Formulated with proprietary halogen stable azole and a blend of calcium phosphate polymer dispersants, the program can be used with inexpensive biocides such as chlorine without loss of effectiveness. It provides strong performance at elevated temperatures and in the presence of high levels of soluble iron, suspended solids, alum carryover, and calcium hardness. Benefits include lower operating costs, increased cycles, improved heat transfer, extended equipment life, and minimized downtime for maintenance. One of the Dianodic Plus series of halogen stable cooling treatment programs, the program also reduces copper discharge and guards against pitting corrosion of mild steel.
