Dry Type (CD
A CD System converts water-cooled equipment to air-cooled. Water consumption and disposal costs are eliminated. This system features two components: 1) a compact pump and control package and 2) a remote, air-cooled heat exchanger with fans. The glycol/water coolant is generally cooled to approximately 10 ºF above the ambient dry bulb temperature. The addition of an optional trim cooler (Model CDT) using external water with a temperature control valve can reduce the coolant temperature further on hot days.
