Custom Designed Thermometers

The Brooklyn Thermometer Co., Inc. has introduced a Custom Department to handle the design & manufacture of thermometers to satisfy special application requirements. The Custom Department fields calls from Researchers, Chemist, Lab Managers, etc., that have a specific temperature measurement problemandneed a thermometer with a unique design to fit their application. The Custom Department Technicians are trained to listen for the user's needs and then use their vast knowledge to design a thermometer which will be directly suited to do the job most efficiently.

Recent and not-so-recent designs have been found in such far-flung places as the depths of the Pacific Ocean measuring water temperatures around Volcanic Lavaflows and on the Moon during the Apollo Space Missions where they were mounted on the back of the Lunar TV cameras. In each case the thermometers had to withstand extreme environmental conditions.
