Ohio Semitronics, Inc.TG Hall Effect Current Sensor incorporates a Hall effect device and the flexibility of a standard transducer output. The CTG line includes circular window models from 100A to 2500A and rectangular (bus bar) models from 500A to 5000A. Both the circular and rectangular models are available in split-core configurations. The available outputs for any model are 0 - 10Vdc and 0 - 5Vdc. The output is proportional in direction and magnitude to current flow through the window.
The line has an accuracy of 1% F.S. over a frequency range of dc to 400Hz with a response time of less than 100 microseconds. It has an overload capability of 10 times rating and 5000V line-to-output isolation the inherent safety benefits are obvious. The Hall effect measurement circuit makes this product ideal for dc power systems or ac power systems with dc components and/or chopped waveforms.
