Test systems are sensitive down to 1 ppb of dissolved oxygen and are not prone to contamination, down time, or difficult testing procedures. Most tests can be performed in two minutes.
CHEMetrics, Inc.rics, Inc. is the world leader in ultra-low level, colorimetric dissolved oxygen testing. This status has been achieved by the development of a unique testing system entitled the self-filling reagent ampoule. A unit dose of reagent is contained in a vacuum-sealed glass ampoule that has a tapered, prescored tip. When the tip of the ampoule is broken below the sample's surface, the vacuum in the ampoule causes the sample to be drawn in where it reacts with the reagent. Contamination from atmospheric oxygen is effectively blocked by a bubble of inert gas and residual sample in the tapered tip of the ampoule. The system offers accurate testing, low cost, and an efficient testing time of two minutes.
