Backplanes

The company offers 10-layer backplanes for Compact PCI applications that meet the PICMG CompactPCI 2.0 R 2.1 specification. These 64-bit, 3U, 6U and 7U backplanes are available in four, six, eight, and slot versions. Stiffening rails have been incorporated to prevent bending when units are removed and replaced. The products also features 10-layer high-performance construction, microstrip and strip line design, clock signals with identical signal running time, and right or left-handed controller slots. The voltage I/O can be configured for +3.3V or +5.0V. The units also include busbars on 5V, 3.3V and ground for optimum power distribution, has a data transfer rate of 132/264 mbytes and has 220 pin metric connectors for hot swap applications. Customized configurations are also available.
