Alresist

Alresist Alumina Ceramic products are high purity, fine grain, alpha alumina oxide, a material harder than all others except diamond. A variety of shapes are formed from the fine powder at room temperature. These shapes are then sintered in a kiln at 2,000° F or higher. The result is dense, durable, wear resistant and impact resistant pieces that will outlast other products two to ten times.

Alresist is often used in combination with Abresist to cover areas of highest wear while the lower cost Abresist material is used for the normal wear surfaces. Shapes are custom engineered using existing drawings or on-site measurements to develop the precise combination of bevels and shapes to fit the application. They are painstakingly inspected and pre-assembled in our plant prior to installation.
