Alfa Laval Wins SEK 60 Million Power Order In The Middle East

Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has won an order to supply a fuel oil treatment system to a power plant in the Middle East.

The order is booked in the Energy & Process segment and comprises a fuel oil treatment system (which includes pumps and separators) for treating the crude oil so that it can be used as a fuel for power generation. Delivery is scheduled for 2015.

“This is yet another energy-related order but this time from the power industry. We have recently also seen large orders covering natural gas, offshore oil extraction and oil refining, emphasizing our position as a reliable supplier to the energy sector,” says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
