Air Amplifiers

Haskel International Inc.'s alternative to a dedicated high pressure compressor, the air amplifier is a compact unit that requires no electrical or mechanical drive connections, is powered by the same air that it amplifies, and can be mounted in any position. This system is designed to allow for variable outlet pressure and flow capability, as well as have no heat, flame or spark risk, no air line lubrication required eliminating oily exhaust, and a long seal life. Outlet pressure can be controlled by regulating the air drive and/or air supply pressure (depending on the model), and outlet flow is controlled by adjusting the air flow to the drive piston with a corresponding change in cycle rate. The rugged construction of the product makes it suitable for demanding industrial applications.

Available in a range of models, controls and options, the air amplifier has double acting and two stage models that are engineered to provide increased output, drive force and output pressure capabilities. It is also available in a range of hp sizes, from 1/3 hp for low flow/static operations, to eight-hp for high flow dynamic applications.
