The new Gas Turbine Efficiency (GTE) cleaning system for gas turbines provides field proven, on-line washing performance through direct injection. The system is designed to minimize operator revenue losses through unscheduled shut downs necessary to undertake off-line washing. The system can accommodate on and off line washes. The turbine is effectively and transparently washed at base load without hazard or compromise to the turbine. The specially designed nozzles provide micro-fine atomization, reducing thermal shock and loading of compressor blades. The design reduces the necessity for vast volumes of fluid to be injected into the turbine. The system is cost effective and environmentally adapted.
