Wedge Tightness Detector - WTD-501

The WTD-501 is an improved version of the original WTD-123, the WTD-501 quickly and objectively measures the relative tightness of all stator wedges in a machine. Anyone can do the test and come up with the same result! The tightness of each wedge is measured electronically and compared to all other wedges in the winding, the wedges of another winding or an absolute external reference. The redesigned probe is smaller, lighter and more flexible to fit almost any rotating machine regardless of slot size or depth. The WTD-501 provide a digital map showing the relative tightness of every wedge in the stator. The data can be stored for trend analysis to determine when maintenance will be required.
