Tripp LiteA and 10kVA Unison true on-line UPS systems utilize high-frequency, double conversion technology to provide internetworking, datacenter, telecom and mid-range computing applications with uninterrupted sine wave power. These true on-line systems continually convert incoming AC (utility) power to filtered DC (battery) power, then resynthesize it back to low-harmonic, frequency-controlled AC power. This constant on-line operation is said to generate a pure sine wave output with zero transfer time, while isolating connected equipment against all power problems (including brownouts, blackouts, surges and line noise).
These models include two built-in serial communications ports and one dry-contact interface port. These ports allow the UPSs to communicate with a wide range of system without the added expense of additional accessories. Included software permits users to manage and control all UPS systems enterprise-wide, regardless of manufacturer.
