These shields are designed for efficient, flexible, and transportable shielding around potentially hot areas. There are three types available, ranging from a simple tank style to a specially fashioned window water shield. Stainless steel tanks are filled with water and placed next to eachother, forming a shield wall. Tanks can form 90° angles with chevron joints or 45° angles with ball and socket joints. They can also be positioned in a straight line, providing greater versatility for shielding formation. Features include:
•Rugged stainless steel tank with plexiglass window on top half
•Shielding equivalent of 1½-in. of lead or more if desired
•Excellent clarity through window
•Corner eyebolts located on the top of tank for easy lifing when filled
•Easily transportable by hand on built-in casters when unit is empty
•Casters are automatically lowered to floor level when filled to eliminate "toe shine"
